ABSTRACT
Cancer is not solely a biological disease, it is a
multidimensional condition with profound psychological,
behavioral, and existential consequences. From diagnosis
onward, patients are exposed to sustained uncertainty,
threat, and disruption that extend well beyond the tumor
itself. Although advances in oncology have significantly
improved survival, progress in addressing the emotional
and psychosocial dimensions of cancer has been uneven. As
a result, survivorship and rehabilitation outcomes remain
suboptimal for many patients.
