ABSTRACT
Depression is common in cancer and exerts toxic bio-
behavioral effects that impair treatment response and survival.
Cancer rehabilitation is central to survivorship beginning at the point
of cancer diagnosis. Early, integrated rehabilitation improves function,
quality of life, equity, and outcomes across the cancer continuum through
proactive surveillance and personalized care that helps individuals live
fully with and beyond cancer.
