ABSTRACT
In this article, the author re ects on advances in cancer survivorship care and research that have occurred during the past 50 years, and in particular strategies to care for cancer survivors using the 3P’s approach: palliation, prevention and health promotion. This approach is as relevant as in the past, and particularly with the continued growth in the number of cancer survivors.
