ABSTRACT
Several studies show that the older cancer patients want to receive information about their sexual sphere, especially because patients are conscious. At the same time, doctors focus more on aspects re- lated to survival and therapeutic responses, rather than body image and sexual activity. It is therefore important to address any discom- fort or dif culties in the sexual sphere as soon as possible in order to intervene appropriately.
This Special Issue addresses these issues and opens a profound re ection on the theme of sexuality in the elderly cancer patient.
