ABSTRACT
Summary
Following the sudden interruption of the mammographic screening in
asymptomatic women, due to the epidemic coronavirus disease (COVID-19) emergency, we propose a simple and replicable model to achieve
"safe" re-opening of mammographic screening activities in the so-called
PHASE 2. Use of structured operating schemes, redefinition of logistics
in the working process and greater digital (IT-systems) support are helpful to design new organizational procedures that let us restart screening
respecting infection containment current standards.
